Allen, I miss seeing you and Dianne! I want to stop by your house one day, just to visit for a few. I think about the great music you brought to the Evangeline Club in the Seventies. That was a very memorable time of my life. Keep on truckin.

Hey my old friend and roommate, we shared an apt in Houston in 1966 and 1967, i was working in the car business then and you were singing at clubs, i have wondered about you many times over the last 50 plus years, and i hope you are doing well even with the illness you mention. i married Suzy Cammack back in 1968 and moved back to Fort Worth , i have always felt bad for leaving you holding the bag i was young and stupid and irreresponsible but i still feel bad for leaving without paying the rent , i do hope you forgave me. How is your sister she was a sweet girl so hope she is well.. Suzy told me once that you managed a restaurant somewhere and I was thrilled to hear that you were still around. you were playing at the Domed Shadows at that time, please let me hear from you, i would love to talk about old times, my cell number is 817-475-4756 if you can call me, I would be absolutely thrilled to hear from you, peace brother and holler at me soon,, Wade Thomas I live in Brownwood Texas

Allen--I googled you yesterday and was so pleased to find your website. Think back to Corpus Christi and you will remember me hiring you for the annual Navy base Festival! I am saddened to hear of your health issues, but believe your spirit to overcome will prevail. I will never forget your great talent and your singing Chicago better than Chicago. I was in touch with Sam Neely until he died far too early about ten years ago. I retired from the Navy and now run a Venture Capital firm in New York City. I also live part time in Georgetown (DC.) Would love to see you. Let's communicate by email. I am at: edstraw@att,net All the best to you Allen Wayne Michot! Ed Vice Admiral Edward M. Straw, USN (Retired) NY, NY

Allen I sure do miss your live singing! In the 70's at Slicks in St. Martinville you always did play my requested song "Them Changes" and the dance floor would be packed! A FACT! Marcia and I sure do miss you and Dianne.
